How can I delete a duplicate online store?

I accidentally opened 2 stores and I only want the original one. How do I delete or close this other store?

I can happily provide you with steps to close down the duplicate store -

  1. In your Shopify Admin, go to Settings.

  2. Navigate to Plan and click on Deactivate Store.

  3. Follow the prompt that follows and enter your password. This will then deactivate your store.

I want to make sure that if I follow these steps and reactivate one store, my other store on the same account will not be affected.
