Hello,
How can I access and remove shop metafields? (not the product nor the variant, but the shop metafield)
I see in a translation app that there are shop metafields left overs from uninstalled apps.
I work with Dawn 4.0.0 / Shopify OS 2.0
Thank you,
Etienne
Hi @etienne21 ,
Are you talking about the meta-tags? If so, the file is meta-tags.liquid under the Snippet folder. You can also see the render code in the theme.liquid under Layout folder
Thank you @made4Uo . I checked the meta-tags file, but it is not there.
It is really Shop Metafields.
There are fields of apps I already uninstalled like:
trustpilot.master_settings
swym.js_path
Of course also fields of apps I do have installed, these are fine. But I like to clean up the database/code as much as possible.
Hi @etienne21 ,
Sadly, it’s not possible to do that via Shopify’s native interface. However, if you’re open to using a third-party app, you can do that using our awesome app – Metafields Guru. You can access, edit and delete data for all resource types (including the shop itself) even with the free plan:
Yet another cool thing is that our free plan is actually free
: no hidden charges, trials etc. Hope this helps!
