I have a question. I have tried to find a solution for deleting the purchased domain from Shopify but I didn’t find the solution yet. I find better domains which I want to purchase from Shopify. I have already purchased 21 domains from my Shopify account and more purchase is not possible. I have to delete a few of them and then I can purchase from a Shopify account.
I have sent an email to Shopify about this problem but I have got the reply:
From August 13, 2019, we have changed how you create a support ticket by email! As part of these changes, support@shopify.com no longer accepts incoming messages.
To delete a purchased domain from your Shopify account, you can follow these steps:
Log in to your Shopify account.
Click on “Online Store” in the left-hand menu, and then select “Domains” from the dropdown menu.
Find the domain you want to delete and click on its name to open its settings.
Click on “Manage” in the “Details” section of the domain settings.
Scroll down to the “Actions” section and click on “Delete domain”.
Confirm that you want to delete the domain by clicking on “Delete domain” again in the pop-up window.
It’s important to note that deleting a domain from your Shopify account is a permanent action and cannot be undone. Additionally, it can take up to 20 days for the domain to be fully released and available for purchase again.
