Hi, I need to delete my inactive shopify account and de-link the domain attached to it so that i can use it on other active shopify account, how can I do that as inactive store is not giving me an option to delete ot and contact support chanells are not working too
You can simply add your domain to your new Shopify store as DNS already set on your domain provider.
It’ll work as you go with instructions while add the domain on new Shopify store.

You can transfer your domain from the inactive store through to the store you currently use! I’ll note the instructions below -
- In your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Domains.
- Click on the domain you’re wanting to transfer and click Transfer domain > Transfer to another Shopify store.
- Follow the prompts, and click Send transfer link, which will send a link to your email address.
- Once you complete the steps in your email, your domain will take up to 24 hours to transfer over.

im having this same problem except i want to use my domain for my etsy shop. My shopify is deactvated so it wont let me get to my dashboard to disconnect the domain name i purchased.
