How can I design my homepage to resemble Dior's layout?

Topic summary

Goal: Replicate a luxury-brand style homepage—two large, side-by-side hero images each with a button label, full-screen imagery, and a dropdown/mega-menu that appears on scroll (referencing Dior and Dolce & Gabbana examples). External references and screenshots provided; a site preview link with password was shared.

Feasibility and approach: Respondents agree it’s achievable but requires custom code, particularly CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) to restyle sections. One recommendation is to hire a developer; another notes it “shouldn’t be too bad” with some CSS knowledge.

Open questions/next steps: A participant asks whether the original poster wants to hire someone or attempt it themselves, implying the path forward depends on that choice. No specific code or implementation steps were provided yet.

Status: Discussion remains open with no final solution. Images and example links are central to understanding the desired design outcome.

Hello All,

I am trying to design my home page to look like the Dior example (2 large images side-by-side) with a button label on each image. If it’s possible I would like the pictures to fill up the whole screen with the appearance of the dropdown menu when scrolling (as in the Dolce & Gabbana example). thepillpeople.org, PW: money

Dolce & Gabbana url: https://us.dolcegabbana.com/en/

Dior url: https://www.dior.com/en_us

Thanks!!!

Hi @ThePillPeople

Love the design you want. This is doable but need to write a custom code. I would suggest to hire someone to do this for you

This will take some CSS knowledge to be able to change the styles of the section, but shouldn’t be too bad.

Were you looking to get someone to do this for you, or you were trying to do this yourself?
