i am an independent illustrator who literally just wants the process of someone buying my work to be : they pay through bank transfer and fill out an address form, then i am the one who sorts it out independently by packaging and sending off with my local post office. shopify is only operating on ‘dropshipping’ which is not relevant to me. any suggestions? thank you greatly in advance for your help !

This can definitely be accomplished on the platform and Dropshipping doesn’t have to be a factor.
It sounds like what you’re trying to do is have an online store that lists your products where you take orders via an order form and manually mark the order as paid. I’ll break down the steps for you:
- Upload and list your products
- Set-up a contact/order form using one of our third-party integrations
- Process your customers orders manually, mark as paid once the bank transfer comes through
- Package and ship your orders
The process is pretty straight-forward. That being said, I do encourage you to consider utilizing Shopify Shipping as this enables you to access discounted shipping rates as well as the ability to print labels from home and spare you standing in line at the post office.
