I’m adding a product to my website, and I’d like to be able to display an image of the different sizes available for the T-shirts in this case. I have some references so you can see what I’m aiming for.
In short, I want to create a size guide for my product that is different from what other brands offer. Often, it’s challenging to determine the size based on simple measurements without a clear reference. That’s why I’ve decided to create a very simple design of the product with arrows indicating the measurements and where they are taken from, so the customer can easily understand it.
It would be something similar to this:
Well, this is where the problems come in.
After creating the product with these measurements, I’ve also created a specific metadata page to input this image.
Now comes the moment to link the product metadata I’ve created with the small dropdown that I want to place next to “Care instructions” when you’re on the website looking at the product. My idea is this: create the dropdown, and when opened, it displays the image with the different sizes. I’m open to suggestions from the community, meaning if you think it’s possible to create a dropdown similar to the one in the reference photo, that would be amazing, but I understand it might be more complex.
The issue is that when I try to combine the image metadata I’ve created with my product with the dropdown in the website editing area, it doesn’t allow me to do it. It only lets me link text to a dropdown. This is where I feel stuck, and I can’t figure out how to change it. I understand that this is something that needs to be modified in the website’s code, but I don’t understand anything about coding. I hope someone among you can see this and give me a hand with it.
