How can I display collection images on homepage only?

I would like my collection images to show up on my homepage, when prompted, but not on the collection page (They’re currently showing as a header). I believe I’m working with an older custom theme, my theme file is theme.liquid and the option is not on my collection pages nor theme builder

I’d be glad to help. In your theme customizer, do you have an option to add your collection section right on your homepage?

You might also be able to hide that same section on the collection page.
