How can I display color filters for simple products in DAWN 11.0.0?

Hello everyone,

I have a shop with supplies for drawing and painting, so my assortment is mainly various writing utensils, inks, etc.
I have mostly simple products (without variants) and I would like it to be possible to display colors in the filters for these simple products.
Could you please advise me how to do this?

Hi @EliskaM ,

If you have single varaint product, you can use tags to make custom Color Filtering. If you need help to implement it on the site, please let me know.

I just tried to add those colors to the tags, but they don’t appear anywhere in the filters. So you don’t know what I could have done wrong?

Once you add the tags, you also need to activate the tag filters on app “Search & Discovery”

I figured it out! I completely forgot that “search & discovery” existed :smiley:

So if there is anyone out there who was looking for the same solution;

For the product:

  • always add the color to the tags
  • create a new filter in Search and Discovery
    • select tags and call it, for example, “shades”
    • select all the tags you want there and you’re done :slightly_smiling_face:
