How can I display custom text on product pages and admin side?

Hi,

I’ve followed this guide on how to collect customization information for products using line item properties. https://community.shopify.com/c/Shopify-Design/Product-pages-Get-customization-information-for-products/td-p/616503

I am using the dawn theme (online store 2.0). I cannot get the information that a customer would enter to show up on the cart page or through the orders on the admin side. I have no idea what custom text a customer wants to put on the product. How can I make this show up on the cart page and also on the admin side.

I have placed this within the main-product.liquid file but whenever I add in my personalisation’s to the text input box and add to cart, they do not show up in the cart page or within the orders page in admin
