I am working on a website that’ll take orders for fresh flowers. I am looking to use metafields to display attributes like “Scent Intensity”, “Life span of the flowers”, “flowers included in the bouquet” etc. I am able to display these, but I need to show them little more aesthetically if possible. For eg. Scent intensity could say 5 out of 10 and have a band with half colored. Or flowers included could be a list with a different background color to show a difference. At the moment, I am able to only show them like a regular text; similar to the desc. (attaching 2 screenshots to give an idea. Strangely png is not a valid file time so zipping them in one folder).
Can anyone guide me to some tutorial on this? I am on a Shopify 2.0 theme so can include metafields using theme editor. I found this guide https://www.identixweb.com/how-to-display-images-using-shopify-metafields-in-your-store/ (apart from the shopify tutorials); but its more about using images than other elements to beautify the metalinks presentation.
There’s a few different ways you could go about this. One option would be to use some CSS to style the metafields output. Another option would be to use a tool like Metafields Editor to create a custom field type that allows you to select from a list of options, or even upload an image.
