How can I display out of stock products on my online store?

Hello there,

I’m seeking assistance with displaying out-of-stock products and their variants on our Shopify store, as they are currently hidden.

Within our store, we offer products with numerous variants. When one or more variants go out of stock, the color selector disappears, but the product images remain visible, leading to customer confusion. Consequently, we are in search of a solution to either conceal the images of out-of-stock variants or display the out-of-stock products.

Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @Gymmer ,

Please share the store URL for the reference. or the product URL where you got the issue. It would be great to identify the issue.

Thanks
Kirti

Hi @Gymmer ,

I understand you are looking for a way to manage out-of-stock products and variants on your Shopify store. I recommend checking out the Merhbees Push Down & Hide Out of Stock App, as it seems like an excellent fit for your needs.

This app can automatically push products that are out of stock to the bottom of collections so in-stock items remain visible. When the sold out product is back in stock, the app will automatically move it back to its original sorted position.

The app also has the ability to completely hide out-of-stock products and redirect their pages to maintain SEO value until inventory is replenished. Once the product is available again, the app will automatically unhide it.

With real-time tracking of inventory, these features work instantly as changes occur. The Merhbees app seems like an ideal solution to reduce customer confusion, keep your store organized, and optimize the presentation of out-of-stock products. Let me know if you would like any additional details on how this app can help manage your Shopify store.

Best Regards,
Kenny
