How can I display products by tag based on the day of the week?

Hi.
On my startpage I want to show a specific product with a specific tag depending on what day of the week it is. Something like a “Daily Deal”.

Ex:

I have 7 dags, monday, tuesday etc and if its a monday today, the product that have the tag monday will be shown. (it only need to be one product).
All of these products (with weekday tag) will have the same offer, for example 20% off. So I also want to have an overlay with its old prize, reduced price + a simple transparent png with 20% off.

Also, is it possible to on another site show all 7 products?

Yes, can be done by custom code in the theme.

We will create a template on which only the product tagged with current day will be visible.
