I’m using the Crave theme and have variants turned on. When you go to my product page that has a variant, the first variant option is chosen and the attached photo to that variant shows first. Is there a way to have the original display photo when you click to the product page instead of having the first variant photo chosen?

Here’s one of my products to show what I mean. When you click over one, the photo with BOTH toys in my hand is the original display photo that I’d like to have (not the initial variation photo).

Yes, you cam simply change this in the setting. Try to follow these steps:

  • Go to Online Store → Products → All products
  • Click on the products you want to change
  • Go to Variants section → Edit
  • Go to variants media → click on Add media
  • Upload the product photo that you want to use as the default and select it as the “Cover image”.
  • Save and preview
