How can I display variant product images in different collections?

Hi! I have a product that has a bunch of different variants and each variant belongs in a different collection. This is fine, however, the product variant image is not showing in those collections. Can anyone help with this?

Thanks for posting. I apologize, but I am a bit confused by your question.

When assigning products to collections, you are only able to assign the product, not the variant. Variants live within the parent product, so will fall in the collection that the parent product is assigned to.

Can you provide a link to your website and explain further? Perhaps through screenshots?

Hi! Yes, I understand that we are assigning the product to a collection and not the variant, however, through code I was able to have someone display different variants based on the collection. You will understand more if you look at my website gamedaysgear.com. I just need to do the same for one more product

I’m just helping my colleague out with some follow-ups and I can appreciate what you meant by your original post now. Since you used custom code to make changes in your site, you will likely need to make a few edits that attach the images to the product.
