How can I display VAT number separately in checkout invoice?

Good day. I need help with the following issue:

I often sell goods to companies and therefore it is necessary that there is a field in the checkout for entering the ID / VAT number.

I created this field by changing the field from “Apartments, flats …” to an VAT number (optional).

The problem, however, is that if the customer enters this information, an invoice will be created where the ID number is included in the address area, I need this information to be displayed separately below the address.

They advised me to contact shopify customer support and to change the attribute of this field to registration_no, the platform will automatically assign the company name and all necessary data based on the ID number.

EDIT:

Using edit language I changed the field “Apartments, flats etc …” to the field “VAT number” so that customers can enter their VAT number.

Now I need to change the field attribute to “registration_no”

How can I change that, please? Thank you for every answer.
