How can I easily embed a video on my homepage?

I cannot express how frustrating this is. I am simply trying to embed one of my videos onto my homepage so that it automatically plays and looks natural. I do not understand why I have to upload a video to YouTube and then add it to my home page. Visitors have to press the Youtube play button and then at the end of the video they are shown YouTube suggestions for next videos by other creators…which looks terribly unprofessional.

We are allowed to add videos to the FILE UPLOAD part of our website but cannot simply pull this video onto our home pages (like we can with images). This should not be this difficult!! I should not have to dive into the HTML code to simply add a non Youtube video.

This is possible with custom HTML and you just need to add video tag.

Please send me the name of the theme you are using or the site link, I will guide you in detail.

I am using the Dawn theme.

Are you trying to create a video with the HTML

Have you successfully uploaded the video in files in settings?

Hi I uploaded directly to the website through the costume option I didn’t need to use an html or anything put I’m having an issue to get it to start automatically when I open the website I have to press play do you know how to avoid that so when ppl come on to my site it’s automatic
