How can I easily import different CSV file templates into my website?

Hi Guys

I hope someone can help

I have setup my website and products and i get a link from my supplier for the product updates exct. The problem is the supplier doesnt use shopify but woocommerce so the csv file templates differ causing alot of issues when importing

I need to update the products regularly and i do not know alot about munipulating a csv file with the correct values and headings. Is there an easier way to import csv files from a different supplier if the templates arent the same?

I have asked shopify and they said i must copy all the data from supplier file to shopify template but the headings are totally different so i dont know what to copy where. Hope someone can help with the issue

Hi @Jaco2 ,
I may have a solution for you!

I am developer of shopify app called Feeds Bridge and my app provides you ability to import products from any kind of file as long as it has all the mandatory fields required for products creation.

On Feeds Bridge you simply:

  1. Create a vendor
  2. Define it’s catalog feed map
  3. Import products into feeds bridge
  4. Make any changes if you want
  5. Export products to shopify

You can set up daily updates, meaning if your supplier can provide you with a catalog feed which is hosted on some publicly accessible server and it’s getting updated every day, your products will get updated every day.

There are also various other features on Feeds Bridge, like template validation (import only desired products types and products tags), data enrichment (allows you to enrich products tags using predefined template), rules based pricing management. You can even grant access for your vendors to vendor portal, so they will see status of their items. You can also request vendors to fulfill orders of their items you have sold on your store.
