Hi we have had our shopify store a few months and its going quite well. We are now looking at launching an Amazon store but the App side of it is baffling. Im looking for a simple solution like we already have with Inkfrog and ebay, does it exist ?Or can anyone help.
The Amazon account is set up It just needs a app or solution? Can anyone suggest a turnkey solution.
Kind regards
Hi, @Arkwright .
I appreciate you reaching out here in the community and sharing your question!
Thank you for the context and letting us know that you’ve already created an Amazon account and set it up. If you’d like to integrate your Shopify store with Amazon, there are a few app options I’ll share below.
Amazon Integration Plus
- Automatically syncs your Shopify store with Amazon.
- Import / export your orders and products.
- Automatic currency conversion.
- Import customized ordered products.
Amazon Import
- Import all information directly from Amazon to your Shopify store.
- Integrates with Amazon Merchant account.
- Transfer your Amazon products and variants to Shopify.
I recommend clicking into each app to learn more about the benefits and features. If you need assistance with integrating these apps to your Shopify store, you can contact the third-party app developer directly using the Support > Get Support option on the app page.
You mentioned you’ve had your store now for a few months. I’d love to hear more about what kind of online business you have and what type of products you sell?
Let us know if you have any further questions!
Hi. Does the Amazon integration Plus only work with professional Amazon accounts? I was looking to stay as an individual seller on Amazon. At least for awhile.
Hi. I am right there with you! I spent hours trying to figure this all out. I tried Amazon sales channel by Codisto, and I could not figure it out. It seemed like I still had to manually create all my listings on Amazon, rather than just click and go. All the apps I find seem to integrate from Amazon to Shopify and I need the opposite. I want to send my listings to Amazon from Shopify.
Hi, @poetstreet .
On the app page under Registration for Amazon Integration Plus it requires you to open a professional account on Amazon Marketplace. If you need assistance integrating this app with your store or have further questions on how the app performs on your store, I recommend using the Support > Get Support option located on the app page.
When trying to setup the app Amazon by Codisto what issues were you running into? The apps mentioned above integrate from Amazon to Shopify, however Amazon by Codisto integrates from Shopify to Amazon.
You mentioned that you’ve had to manually create all your listings on Amazon as opposed to click and go. You’ll first need to sign up for an Amazon professional seller account, receive approval from Amazon that your products fit the categories and then integrate the Amazon Sales Channel within your Shopify admin.
Your Shopify products aren’t automatically listed on Amazon when you activate the Amazon Sales Channel, so I’ll share three ways to start selling products on the Amazon Sales Channel.
- Create and manage listings to sell on Amazon if the product you sell is new on Amazon.
- Create an offer for your product if your product is the same as the product which is being sold on Amazon.
- Link Shopify to your existing Amazon listings if the product you provide is being sold on Amazon.
I’ll also share our Shopify Blog resource for more information on Selling on Amazon.
You’d better go with a specialised app for this integration purpose like I’m using litcommerce to list products on Amazon and Shopify back and forth. As product listing is among their basic features I guess they can help you with pushing products from Shopify to Amazon. Even if you have specific requirements that may be outside their default options, they can look to conduct customisations for you as I have had them do it a few times so far. I find their services quite convenient to use and more importantly, affordable, so you can give them a try to see if they are a good fit for your store integration. Another plus point is their CS team is very supportive and polite, which I’m quite satisfied with whenever I have questions for them.
The thing here is that seems like you are required to have an active professional seller account if you are seeking to sell your Shopify products on Amazon. I have already subscribed to the Professional plan since the very beginning so I don’t worry much about it. Good thing you already have the first part covered, so better think twice about the second one before making the final decisions.
