Goal: List Shopify products (fulfilled via Printify) on Amazon quickly and easily, with confusion around which Amazon account/app to use.
Current setup and questions:
Seller has an Amazon Seller account and wonders if that’s the right account versus “Amazon Merch” (their Merch application was denied). They’re using Shopify Marketplace Connect and ask if CedCommerce is needed instead.
Guidance provided:
Shopify Marketplace Connect support says: if an Amazon professional seller account is connected and products have valid barcodes, set Offer status to Active. Enable “Publish Listing Details,” assign category, product type, item type, and a variation theme (for multi-variant products), then Save to push listings to Amazon.
Latest issue:
All 203 products show “errored” Offer Status in Marketplace Connect. The seller attempted to share screenshots but couldn’t attach images in the thread.
Next steps and status:
Support directed the seller to contact Marketplace Connect support via email or in-app live chat for hands-on troubleshooting. No resolution yet; root cause of the errors and whether an alternative app (e.g., CedCommerce) is needed remain unanswered.
Hello! We are so confused. We have looked at so many things online, even gotten feedback from a couple of different sources and still don’t seem to be getting a solid answer or an understanding of what to do next. Literally all we want to do is Easily and quickly list our products we are selling in our Shopify store that we are fulfilling through Printify…to sell on Amazon? What is the easiest way to do this please community?
we have an Amazon sellers account… Is that what we’re supposed to have?? as it’s confusing because we’ve also seen this Amazon merch account whatever that is
we have linked Marketplace connect currently… but aren’t seeing how to upload all of our products from Shopify in the Amazon? Do we need to be using CedCommerce instead??

so we are super confused as to what to do next we thought this would be easy. We just want to link our Shopify and/or Printify we are fulfilling through, to AMAZON to quickly and usually upload and sell the products on Amazon??

If your Amazon professional seller account is connected to the Marketplace Connect app and your products already have valid barcodes assigned, simply ensure that the Offer status of your products on the app is set to Active. Enable the “Publish Listing Details” option, assign them to the appropriate category, product type, item type, and, for multivariant products, a variation theme. Finally, click the Save button to initiate the listing process and push the products to Amazon.

Hello! Thank you for replying! Here is our issue. For starters we are seeing the following, and I don’t know how to change it?? Oh…I was going to attach a PNG, but couldn’t. So I switched to JPG, but couldn’t. Well, I was trying to attach a screen shot of our products in the marketplace connect app, is there a way for me to send you or someone this?? Either way, it says “errored” for all 203 of our products for Offer Status. So just trying to figure out how to do all of this?? We are so frustrated and confused and would love anyone who can truly help!
