I have gone through why you do not allow stores to edit PayPal buttons, however I am losing a lot of money because of this.
I have a lot of abandoned checkouts because I can only offer PayPal and my region does not offer a good alternative payment. I think it is not fair to restrict PayPal code edit to Shopify Plus. A new store like mine cannot pay $2000 monthly for it.
Please look into this as it is killing a lot of new store owners. The world is too big and not everyone wants to go to PayPal to pay or sign up. Some want to pay with their cards and when young stores are not even given this basic option unless they shelve out $2000, I believe that’s not giving them room to grow.
Please help me with how I can edit my PayPal code and let my customers Pay directly with their cards. PayPal already gave us the code but I cannot find the checkout code on my theme.
