How can I edit the footer text element in the Dawn theme?

I am trying to edit the text in the footer but it does not give you access to HTML editing. When I try to add my physical address, each line is a new paragraph. Would like to have
s in there instead of

s. How can I get access to the HTML so I can edit this?

Please change from HTML
tag to
tag and see if it works.

The text box does not accept any HTML. Text only. Is there another method to edit this in code?
