How can I edit the return address on my shipping label?

I’m trying to edit the return address on my shipping label, as in the address in the top left corner of my shipping label, how do I do this? Thank you!

Are you attempting to edit the shipping origin address on your shipping labels? If so, you can edit it by updating the address found on the Locations page. Feel free to follow the steps below to do this.

  1. In your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Locations.
  2. Click the location or address that appears on your shipping label and you wish to edit.
  3. Edit the address accordingly.
  4. Click Save.

If you wish to edit the return address on your return shipping label, you can edit it while creating the return shipping label. You can refer to the steps below to create a return label and edit the return address.

  1. In your Shopify admin, go to Orders.
  2. Click the appropriate order number.
  3. Click Return items.
  4. Enter the quantity of items in the order that are being returned.
  5. In the Return shipping options section, select Create return label.
  6. Click Edit address to change the return shipping address. After the label is scanned by the shipping carrier, the new return shipping address becomes the default address for future return labels.
  7. In the Package and weight section, select the package size and enter the order weight.
  8. In the Shipping service section, select a shipping method.
  9. Click Create return label.
  10. Select the way that you want to share the return label with your customer:

If you expect a lot of returns or have a flexible return policy and want to elevate the return experience for your customers, consider looking into using a returns app. This will reduce the manual repetitive tasks that are involved with processing returns as customers can generate their own labels, and do many other features.
