How can I effectively link my Facebook/Meta assets to my Shopify store?

I am unable to link my shopify store to Facebook/Meta for advertising purposes. I have contacted Shopify help 3 times & 3 times I get the same fix recipe that is no help. Shopify help instructions are based on a Facebook user interface that no longer exists. It was changed a few weeks ago. Shopify help gives detailed instructions to select a series of links in Facebook that I cannot find after hours of searching: Settings; More business settings; People; Users.

When I work in Shopify to set up Facebook Marketing I get conflicting error messages. The first says that no Facebook Manager exists. After using the button to create a new Business Manager, I get a message that I must delete one of the existing Business Manager accounts.

I assume that the root problem is in Facebook; that I must create additional Facebook assets, link them together, configure permissions, etc. But I can’t find a path to do any of this.

I assume that anyone who is able & willing to help will need more detail such as screen prints, usernames, passwords, URLs. Tell me what you need & I will provide it.

Linking problem remains. The problem is that I have accidentally created 2 Facebook Business Manager accounts. I need to delete one of the Business Manager accounts. I cannot find a method to do this. So this is a Facebook problem, not a Shopify problem. Facebook offers help via general topic articles / FAQs, not individual problems. So I will need to find another way to get help with Facebook problems.
