We have been fighting with the discount codes to try and get them to work around our current practices and marketing, specifically combinations. The fact that we cannot combine promo codes with our Mix & Match Volume discounts has been a huge headache.

The fact that any free shipping promotions apply to every shipping method in the Shopify system (economy, standard, 3 day Select UPS, 2 day Air UPS, and Overnight UPS). As well as the fact that you cannot select just the lower 48 states(we give discounts equal to shipping costs to the 48 states for everyone outside that area, ie Alaska and Hawaii) has pushed the owner to spend the 15k or so it would take to upgrade our old software that we have had since 1996.
