How can I effectively redirect a content-less URL for SEO purposes?

Hi, i W ant to redirect a url in shopify, although, I know that if the page is a real webpage, the redirect won’t work.

But the page which I want to redirect contains no content and I want to redirect it to the one with content due to SEO. Won’t it be still in googles index?

Redirect from:https://theplanetjunior.com/collections/vendors?q=fisher+price

Rdirect to:https://theplanetjunior.com/collections/fisher-price-toys-online

Please Help, if redirect won’t work, please suggest any other solution like no index or anything. I want to eliminate the first URL?

You can make it with Javascript. Add Javascript code to theme

Without context, I’m guessing the q= page is showing in Google and you’re trying to fix it?

If you canonicalize from/to the same way, this could help to resolve the search results in Google side of things.
