I’ve been meaning to write about this for a while, but it always bothered me that the product vendor selection method between the All Products and the Inventory parts of the admin were different. The All Products section looks like this:
…which, as you could imagine, REALLY sucks when you have several hundred vendors. The Inventory section, on the other hand, had a very simple but useful select dropdown, so that I could select “Product Vendor” as the filter, then tab to the next field and start typing the one I needed. So, I thought it would be nice to have you guys change the All Products menu to reflect that.
Well, in typical Shopify style, you did the opposite, so now there is no easy way to filter EITHER page by vendor. Can whoever did that please revert it and put it the right way? Thanks.
By the way, my offer to become a QA tester for Shopify still stands. I mean, I’m sure the number of angry topics in the forums would decrease since I could let you know when another proposed bad idea change doesn’t work the way you hoped it would…
