Hi I’m currently in development of an online grocery market and I have more than one supplier/vendor to supply me products to send out to my customers, the current concept is that these vendors are sourced from overseas and they will ship to my warehouse upon my request via sending of Order List/Purchase Order/Fulfillment request through email or any other medium that can be recommended and I will divert the products from my warehouse to the houses of my customers. It is a local only service in my country with overseas suppliers.
Right now I am having problems trying to find a way to notify my suppliers regarding products that have been ordered by customers. As I am expecting a high volume of orders due to the marketing strategy in place, to decrease the amount of confusion for my suppliers, I will require all my orders to be organized into a document, or email, and this list is to be sent to the individual suppliers/vendor, preferably in cycles of 24hrs. So, each supplier will receive only 1 email per day with a full list of only THEIR items that have been ordered for the day. I understand that there is a 3rd party custom fulfillment service provided within Shopify however I do not think this is sufficient as it sends the notification per order and not in a batch as I need it to be.
It is expected that the customer will purchase items coming from different suppliers, therefore I require something that can extract these products from their orders and organize them into a list by vendor/supplier and I can send off these as emails every 24 hours (12 midnight). Right now I have my products already imported in Shopify, organized by vendor.
I have tried various apps such as Simple Purchase Orders, Auto Fulfill, Smart Order Notifications and Arigato Automations however they do not seem to work well in high volumes or in the way I want them to be. Right now, Arigato Automations seem to meet my requirements however I am having trouble browsing through their Workflow Library.
I’m hoping I can find a resolution for this before I launch soon, if there are any recommendations within or outside of Shopify please recommend me ASAP. Thank you
