How can I enable fast delivery for certain products on Dawn?

Hey!

I am attaching a picture so you’ll understand what I am looking for:

I cant find an app that does this. I want some product to have the “fast delivery” feature and the others to be standard and in my case longer delivery time. Any suggestion how to fix this in some way?

Hello @dawntheme ,

I assume “fast delivery” will be even for the specific sizes as shown in the image, right? Only sizes with green arrows are eligible for the fast delivery right?

And you want a similar thing for various products. got it.

Yes. So i want to be able to choose what sizes will be fast deliverd. And the ones without the arrows will be without fast deliviery and my customers will have to wait a little longer than the ones with the arrows.

Is this possible?

Hello @dawntheme ,

We got your point and even had a look at the theme you’re using which is “Dawn”. Also, this theme is not providing a fast delivery filter.

This is possible but we’ll need to go with third-party integration and it might not be a free one.

We’ll need to find out which plugins provide such features if you want we can find some as we had a look at a few ones but those were free without such features that you’re looking for. I have asked my teammate to look at it and will get back to you soon with the updates.

In regards to my earlier message below are the apps you can go with which gives somewhat similar results that you’re looking for.

To achieve this accurately you have to go with custom coding as apps are not providing such filter options. If you want to move ahead let me know we can definitely help you with this.

Just for better understanding, we need to raise concern here, you want this filter on the collection page as well as the product page or any one of the specific pages, right?

We had a conversation with the Dawn theme support theme for the simple and easy way out.

Below are the themes provided by theme which gives similar output to what we are looking for.

Here are the workarounds that we can do on the above product filter app:

there are a few workarounds for this:

  1. We can add the same SKU number to each variant that you want to offer Fast Delivery for. Using a product filter app (I’ll share some examples below), you can filter SKUs that align with a title that you apply to the filter (in this case you would name the title “Fast Delivery”)
  2. You can add additional text in the variant name field (for example - “X-Large - Fast Delivery Available”) and the product filter app would filter the variants based on the name.

What we can do is, if you want we can help you with testing this as a sample by not affecting your live store and we can see how it works and how we can achieve this as possible with the above solution.

For a simple messaging display in a table/llist you can do this with metafield definitions, dynamic sources, or custom-liquid blocks.

If you want it part of the dynamic variant option selection that would need an advanced theme customization.

As for the actual shipping/logistics side, that is shipping profiles/rates for expedited services per variant.

If you have tons of special shipping rules you will need an app that can operate on a per variant basis.

In addition to the general profile, you can create 99 custom shipping profiles for 100 shipping profiles in total.> > - help.shopify.com shipping-profiles
