We are new to using shopify POS in our clinic for all things that we sell, we were previously using a separate POS and shopify was only for our online orders that were placed. We have patients that we ship to, pickup their orders in house, and we charge for their doctor visits.
Is there a way on the backend that we can enable a local pickup button (like our patients can when they place orders online) when we are processing over the phone orders in the POS that will be picked up so that our shipping team doesn’t ship the order, or is the only resolution to set a shipping value as “will pick up” for free and then manually fulfill the order? It seems like a bulky process when I feel there should just be an option to enable that we can set up that would show the local pickup process the same way it does when a patient chooses it when checking out on their own from our online store.
