just an update to this as per ordinary agency instructions - if you having problems getting the messaging in the correct place on the product page through editing the html code, ive found an easy way.
go to your theme editor, and the to you product page, add a new section " custom liquid" enter the code he suggested and then you can just move that section to wherever you want the messaging to appear.
