Hi, I’m sure this has probably been answered before but looking for some expertise and a solution:
Problem: our customers can manually input their postal address. Many, many, many of them do things like put the nearby posh town instead of their actual home town, or use a house name instead of number when all they’ve done is put a plaque on the wall outside, or they misspell or mistype their address. When we come to generate shipping labels via ParcelForce we then have to manually search for their address and make educated guesses based on their postcode and re-enter the details for the label. It’s very time consuming and frustrating.
Solution: we need a way of forcing the customer to input a postcode ONLY, and to then choose from a list of associated, recognised, official/formal addresses. Not some made up address.
Is this possible?
