How can I ensure customers receive order updates via email?

Hi how would I know if customers are getting updates on their orders and if they are not how can I start the process of have notifications about there order sent to their emails please

You can try setting up the Order status page, pls follow this blog: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/orders/status-tracking/order-status-email

When you confirm or ship orders, your customers can automatically receive an email that links them to their order status page.
