I’m just measuring around with shopify at the minute and can’t seem to get my site mobile friendly specifically my slideshow & footer.
Any advice would be appreciated, thank you in advance!

Thank you for getting in touch. When you’re designing your store, you certainly want to consider how it will look on both desktop and mobile devices, and both views can be previewed within the Shopify theme editor.
You’ll want to consider the varying layouts of each device, and choose your imagery appropriately. For example, you may have a great slideshow image which looks great on a wide desktop screen, but on mobile the edges of this image will be cut off as users will browse the site on mobile with a portrait view. To counter this, you can choose a wide image that still makes sense and looks good when the edges of the image are absent, with the focus of the image being more central.
In terms of your footer, it may be that you have too many columns or links that do not display well on mobile. You can try reducing the size of your footer menu so that it looks clean and organized on a mobile device.
I’d also recommend designing your website with mobile in mind first and foremost as more and more customers opt to shop online via their phone before their laptop or desktop computer. There is a great article on the Shopify Blog titled "Mobile-First Design: Putting the User First" which I think you may find useful.
