How can I ensure payment if a customer's credit card is denied?

How can avoid not being paid because a customer’s credit card was denied after providing services. Once the patient pays I provide immediate service through telemedicine.

Since you’re providing a service after collecting payment on your site, the easiest way to verify that payment was successfully collected is to check the ‘Orders’ section of your Shopify admin. Find that person’s order, and check out the order timeline to confirm that payment was captured. If a credit card was declined, then an order would not have successfully been created, and instead would have become an ‘Abandoned Cart’, something you can also see from the ‘Orders’ section of your Admin.

If you didn’t receive payment and provided services to a customer, you will want to reach out to that customer and let them know that payment failed and you’d like them to pay for the services they received. You can create a draft order for the cost of the services, and email the customer an invoice for the cost after the fact. This would be the easiest way for you to collect payment for the services via Shopify.
