Are there any recommendations for Shopify experts who can help create a new product template for our store? Our current site is hard coded to not let you checkout but we would like to create a template option to have the ability to allow you to checkout on specific products.

If the previous product template on your theme was modified by an expert, then it’s possible that there was a separate product template created without the ability to checkout. If this is the case, then you may be able to toggle back to using the default template for certain products. Can you check if you have any other templates when editing one of the products?
Alternatively, you can install a fresh copy of your theme and copy the original product template, then pasting it onto a new product template on your existing theme. From there, you’ll be able to simply toggle the templates on the products.

I’d love to hear more about your business! What kinds of products do you sell? How come you didn’t want to allow checking out on the site previously?
