If you are trying to implement some sort of live chat system on your own Shopify store, then you would most likely need to install an app. There’s actually quite a lot of them available! I had a look on the Shopify App Store and found the following few which look popular. Be sure to pay attention to any relevant app charges before installing any of them:

Having a live chat option sounds like it would be a great idea to create a sense of trust with your customers. If you haven’t done so already, having a FAQ page along with other policies would be a good idea to reduce the amount of people needing to contact you with their questions. Are you having trouble reaching our support team via live chat?

The process has changed slightly since my last post, however the same link should still work. Feel free to click this link here to be brought to our support page.

You will need to login and select the store that you need support for. After selecting the store you will be presented with a variety of different topics. Feel free to click the one that applies most to your issue (you may need to also select a sub-topic to further refine the issue).

After doing so you will be presented with commonly asked questions and help articles relating to that topic. However, underneath those you should see a section called ā€˜Get Support’. You can click the ā€˜Chat with Us’ option to be connected to one of our live chat advisors.

If your query is not sensitive or confidential in nature then you can also feel free to share it here. Myself or other members in the Community may be able to assist. Just keep in mind that we do not have access to any of your account information.
