How can I fix a DNS issue that caused my online store to shut down?

Hello,

I tried to connect my 3rd party domain to my store and possibly, I made something wrong. While I was trying these things, my store shut down at the same time and I got an email about account closure. I guess that my dns change caused something really suspicious. Because, I’m sure that there is no copyright infringement or so.

I already replied back to the email which I received about account closure but not sure if I can get any response soon.

Is this something common and any clue how to fix?

Thank you

From my experience, the most common reason for store closures are the selling of restricted products, issues with CC payment, and ToS violations.

Since it’s an account-specific issue, it would be best to wait for the response via email.

Thank you Nick. I just wanted to add a bit more information to clarify. The store was not public yet ( still password protected ) and the products I’ve listed were just jewelry and nonbrand. Since I’ve been busy with listings, I couldn’t find time to create/edit ToS yet.

I thought, maybe the changes I made while redirecting my domain generated so many bad requests or something like that. This is how I interpreted with my inadequate technical knowledge :slightly_smiling_face:

But yes, I will be waiting for the response from Shopify Risk dept.
