How can I fix a non-expanding main menu and change its position?

Hi there

I am having troubles with my main navigation menu, it does not expand in when hovered, It’s just stuck.

PLUS I want to change the position of the menu and keep it to the left and expand vertical.

And this is how I’d like it to be eventually (vertical on left hand side of page):

2. Asset->/theme.css ->paste below code at the bottom of the file.
   this code apply for after 5 - 6 second
