How can I fix inventory import issues on my ecommerce platform?

I came through an issue with importing inventory which my vendor has given the csv file but when i tried to import the file i don’t see the qualities are being added. all i see the stocks are “0”, If anybody came across with issue please kindly help me out on this.

Are your CSVs you are using the same as our sample CSV provided in our Help Center? The CSV template for importing inventory needs to match exactly or the content won’t import properly.

It is also important to note that you don’t use the product CSV file to export or import inventory quantities. You need to use the inventory CSV file.

To create a template to align with, please head to the Inventory tab in your admin and export a sample list of product inventory from there. This will create the base you can use to import future inventory updates.

I also always recommend when troubleshooting CSVs to test importing 2-5 items at a time to see if the error persists. If it still doesn’t work even with a few products, we can usually assume that the csv file order is probably not correct.
