I need help with my shipping profiles. I have received messages from customers stating that I do not currently offer shipping to their specific state (WI and ID).
From my understanding I offer shipping to the United States domestic (see attachments). When I go into the shipping profile for each it does show all states selected.
My preference is to ship by weight as I have heavy items. All my products currently have a weight associated in each listing.
The shipping rate profiles that I need are: First class mail, Ground Shipping, Flat Rate shipping.
It would be my ideal scenario to have the below rates auto calculated for me:
First class (small items) weight: .1-.15oz $6
Priority mail weight 1lb-2lb $12.99
Priority mail weight 3lb-6lb $14.99
Priority mail weight 7-8 $22
Ground shipping for selected products (perfumes these cannot ship internationally).
Is there something that I am over looking, would greatly appreciate help in what I am doing wrong, as am loosing out on sales because of this!
The most common culprit to this issue is what location the inventory is stored in. Assuming you have more than one location, I suspect that you created shipping rates for only one of your locations and not all of your locations. If the inventory for the product(s) is set to the location that doesn’t have shipping rates, then the error you’re seeing will appear.
You can either create shipping rates for the missing location or transfer the inventory to the location that has shipping rates. Either route should resolve the issue.
I’m having the same problem and it’s usually intermittent, but today it’s bad. I don’t think its anything on my end because if the user closes their browser and goes back in, they can place the order. I think it’s a bug. Why is it so hard to get customer support?? I’ll be following this thread.
