Hello, I am writing some content on one of my Pages and cannot get spaces to display between paragraphs. When I write it out in the text box, it looks fine, but the second I save and preview it, everything gets lumped together in one paragraph.
Here’s an easy workaround
- Type your text and style it in the HTML editor (https://html-online.com/editor/), then copy the source code
- go to Shopify text editor and click on <> (show HTML) button,
- Paste the source code.
- Save.
If it’s appearing fine in the RTE then it’s likely your theme causing the issue. Could be due to the page template, which you can toggle in the bottom right corner under “templates” if your theme has more than one template. I’d start there to see if that resolves the issue.
You can troubleshoot whether it is a theme issue by installing a fresh copy of a free Shopify theme and viewing the page there. If you’re getting the same result, then the issue would likely be in the RTE. Using the suggestion @Nick_Marketing could help resolve this.
If you can’t replicate the issue with a different theme, then the issue is with the theme itself. Reaching out to the theme developer would be the best route to getting this resolved.
Hey!
Thank you so much, it worked for the paragraphs, I am trying to add a
picture to my paragraphs as well, do you know how I can do that? When I try
to add an image via the website you gave me it asks me for the source of
the image, the dimensions, and I don’t really know the dimensions or what I
should put?
Do you think you can help me with that?
Thank you!
-Jade
Have you tried inserting an image using the RTE editor in the Shopify admin? You should be able to upload an image without the need to use dimensions.
@Nick_Marketing Thank you for your help! solve my problem with spacing ![]()
