How can I fix product color filter language issues?

Topic summary

  • Main issue: The product color filter (set up via a PRODUCT OPTIONS filter) does not switch languages and remains in English, even when the rest of the site and other filters change language correctly.

  • Context: A multilingual storefront needs color options to localize alongside other filter facets. The user has configured a color-based filter for products.

  • Observed behavior: Only the color filter’s labels/values appear in English across languages. Other filters behave as expected when the site language is changed.

  • Evidence: Attached screenshots illustrate the filter UI, showing color options stuck in English while the interface language changes.

  • Impact: Inconsistent language experience in faceted navigation; potential confusion for non-English users.

  • Requested help: Guidance on how to localize/translate the color filter options so they match the selected site language.

  • Status: Unresolved; no solutions or configuration steps provided yet. Key open question: how to properly translate color attribute labels/values in the filter across languages.
