Slideshow images were not displaying fully on mobile, while appearing correct on desktop. The poster asked if the issue stemmed from Canva-sourced images or a Shopify setting.
Access details were requested to inspect the store. The store was password-protected; after a brief query about retrieving it, the URL and password were provided.
A community member advised a theme-level fix:
Go to Online Store > Edit Code
Open theme.liquid (the theme’s main layout file)
Add a custom code snippet just above the tag
A code block and a result image were shared as the core of the solution, though the exact code content was not visible in the post.
Outcome: The poster confirmed the change resolved the mobile slideshow display issue. No further issues were raised. The thread is resolved, with an offer for additional help if needed.
Good day I have recently started on shopify and when I was designing the shop I found that my slide show images are not showing the full images on mobile and yet on the desktop they look perfect.
Is the problem my images that I got on Canva or is it something I can fix inside shopify? Please advise on how I can remedy this problem
