How can I fix the Terms and Conditions page issue in Brooklyn theme?

Issues with Terms and Conditions page on Brooklyn theme.

I have a question for Shopify team members. I currently operate a fashion e-commerce store on shopify, using the Brooklyn theme. After following the instructions of adding a ‘Agree to Terms and Conditions’ check box from this page: https://community.shopify.com/c/shopify-design/cart-add-an-agree-to-terms-and-conditions-checkbox/m-p/625879/highlight/true#M160619, I noticed that the Brooklyn theme doesn’t have the option of having this in the checkout section before payment/completing the order. It only applies to the cart. So, for example if someone clicks ‘buy now’, it takes them straight to the checkout section, completely negating the need to check the ‘Agree to Terms and Conditions’ page, which has serious legal and logistical implications.

Also, I experienced an issue whereby the ‘Agree to terms and conditions’ checkbox kept appearing twice in the cart, despite following the instructions from the link above accurately. Photo attached for reference.

Hoping to get some clarity and a way to resolve this quickly as it’s quite a crucial part of the business.

Hi @BosphClothing ,

You need to check the code dual for cart page. may be its relates in cart.liquid file. then you have delete the code. second thing as I can check Brooklyn theme doesn’t have an option for Terms and Conditions Page.

Look this is an time consuming work.

You can directly get connected with me via email or Skype.

Thanks…
