Hi guys just use the CHROME BROWER. I did it with MICROSOFT EDGE first and no matter how many times or how I tried it just shows “internet error”. But after trying it with CHROME it worked instantly lol. Use CHROME!
Topic summary
Users are experiencing a persistent blank pop-up or loading issue when attempting to connect their Shopify stores to TikTok Shop. The problem occurs at the “Connect Now” step, preventing the TikTok login screen from appearing properly.
Official TikTok Support Recommendations:
- Clear browser cache and cookies, or use incognito mode
- Log out and back into TikTok Shop seller account
- Disable VPN services
Community-Reported Solutions:
- Browser switching: Chrome and Firefox worked for some users; Safari caused issues for others
- Cookie settings: Allow all cookies from both shopify.com and tiktok.com domains
- Incognito mode workaround: Open incognito window, disable cookie blocking via the eye icon (top right), then sign in
- Account cleanup: Delete unused/trial Shopify stores that may interfere with connection
- Third-party apps: Some users successfully connected using alternative apps like AfterShip Feed, Datech ShopSync, or paid TikTok integration versions
Current Status:
The issue remains unresolved for many users despite trying multiple troubleshooting steps. Some report success with specific browser/settings combinations, while others continue experiencing “unexpected error” messages even after reaching the login screen.
