How can I fix unequal column sizes in the Dawn Theme?

Hi all,

I just finished adjusting the liquid code for my site to make images clickable in multicolumn blocks in the Dawn Theme following the video here made by @made4Uo . Somehow, I think I messed something up where now the columns are not equal sizes. I want to have two columns with two images side by side. In this screenshot, you can see that the toggle is set to two columns, but one is significantly larger and takes up the whole desktop.

The second column is pushed to a second line, and is much smaller.

Does anyone know what might have gotten messed up that I can fix to get these two columns back to side by side and of equal widths?

1. Go to online store > theme > Customize > Assets > do changes given below → Save.

(change the image width according to your convenience) then save and preview your store after that you see the changes.

2. Here 's the result after saving when you preview your store:

These settings are the same as I had already selected (see the screenshots in my original post). I think I messed something up with the code, not with the settings.
