How can I fulfill or remove unfulfilled test orders not added by me?

I created this store but I did not added any products of my own. The system somehow created test orders which are showing as unfulfilled but fully paid but these are incomplete How can I fullfil these orders which are not mine or how can I get rid of these orders.

I have not received this money mentioned in these test orders.

Hey there, @umairinformatic . Thank you for reaching out to the Shopify Community with your situation here. My name is Imogen. I’m happy to chat with you to help you determine how to handle these orders.

To clarify some things here, Shopify shouldn’t be created products on behalf of the merchant. Product creation is a manual process, or requires a CSV import, so if you didn’t create these products yourself, it’s odd that any products would be present.

The same can be said for these test orders. Test Orders have to be placed manually through your online checkout, and these orders can’t be placed unless there are products to be added to cart. Test Orders also don’t have funds attached to them, which would explain why you didn’t receive any money for these orders.

All in all, these processes are all manually triggered, so if you don’t recall doing these things yourself, is there a chance that someone else who has access to your store did? I recommend that you reach out to our Authenticated Live Team using this link so they can assist you with investigating these orders and these products, assist you with determining their origin, and assist you with any additional questions you have about this situation.

Dear,

Hi there, @umairinformatic . Thank you for following up with me here.

To set some expectations for you, you’ve reached out to Support here in the Shopify Community. Shopify Support Staff are unable to authenticate users in the Community, so I’m actually unable to access any of your store information, or any information related to your shop. As such, I can’t actually access your see your store, or these orders.

I’m also sad to say that your screenshot didn’t seem to load properly. When you’re writing your response, you can hit the camera icon to attach a photo to your reply.

Can you provide me with a bit more information on what you mean when you say that you’ve ‘registered yourself as a virtual assistant’? Do you believe that this has caused these test orders to appear?

Please check these pictures I hope it will help

Hey again, @umairinformatic . Thanks for following up with me here with those screenshots. Those are incredibly helpful!

So those orders are pre-populated orders that help with streamlining the building process of a Development Store. Based on the screenshots you’ve provided me, it looks like your store is on a Development Plan. This means that these orders are not things that you need to worry about fulfilling, and that there was no transfer of funds involved with them. You can actually just delete these orders from your ‘Orders’ page to remove them!

Thanks a lot and have a nice day

No worries, @umairinformatic ! Happy to have provided some insight into those orders for you!

Do you mind if I ask a few questions about this store that you’re building? Are you building it for a client? How have you found building the store so far?
