I have developed a custom shopify app for our store which allows customers to earn cashback for each order. However, not all past (or future) customers will elect to activate their account when they receive the automated email asking them if they want to. For the customers that have difficulty searching their email inbox for this link, is there a way we can generate an account activation link for them? I want to be able to send a link to them via SMS close to the expiry of their cashback.
I can see that you can send an account invite link using the customers section in Shopify, but these links don’t seem to follow a pattern so I can’t figure out how I can replicate it and create one myself.
We still want to keep the option to order without activating their account like we have it currently.
