I recently took over a Shopify Store and attempted to connect it to Facebook and Instagram for tagging. When I started the Facebook shop it gave me an error on google stating that the Gtin or barcode was not long enough. I reached out to the client’s office staff and they sent me that CSV file however it shows a very short primary barcode. Just 5 digits of numbers and letters. I need to know how to generate an actual GTIN without spending hundreds of dollars. They were already selling products so they should have this number already right?
